Chris Brown Cries Out For Help

Did Chris Brown appeal to his fans to prey for him?  No.  Did he put a call out saying that he’s working with a domestic violence organization and he wants people to support a new campaign against teen domestic violence?  NO.  Chris Brown has sent out an appeal to his fans to help him get radio air play.

Global Grind reports: Chris Brown has received a lot of flack since the incident withRihanna. Now Chris Brown is asking for the help of his fans to help him get back to the top of the charts. Chris Brown took to his SayNow page to plead for help from his friends. Chris Brown said:

“I ain’t never really did this but right now I need all of my fans help. A lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back. That’s all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that except for the fans.”

Chris Brown continues on by saying he’s doing everything he needs to do but leaving it by saying:

“It’s on ya’ll. My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have the support.”

Chris Brown closes by saying he loves his fans.

  1. Chris, please ask your PR person to review your SayNow.com posts for consistency sake.  You don’t have to write like a Harvard grad, but you should use standard english.  I know that people want to sound authentically hood. I guess it’s about street cred.
  2. If you want people to stop hating on you, you need to be really, really apologetic.  Sure, you’ve apologized already.  Keep apologizing.
  3. To support someone is an endorsement of their personal brand.  A personal brand can be changed but it can’t be changed by the fans.

  1. You make a good point…I don’t recall hearing or reading anything about him working with any domestic violence organization and that would go a long way with many people. His PR people should have handled this way more effectively because, like sista said, he can be redeemed. Just needs to put forth the effort, toward the right things.

  2. Chris Brown is waaay to young and inexperienced to know how to navigate the waters of a public persona. Add in a scandal/fight – and there’s no where to go but down. Most people cannot do this without a publicist. Who is his publicist and why hasn’t he or she been fired and replaced with a real PR person?

  3. This is some mess.

    1. This is a young man who tried to kill someone – succeeded in publicly humiliating that person instead and got off with a slap on the wrist and some community service time.

    2. What this young man did was irreprehensible and unforgivable. That this young man thinks that all he has to do is “say” sorry a couple of times is ridiculous. Actions speak louder than words. And all of the action that I’ve heard about from this young man includes battering the young woman he was dating.

    3. This young man knows nothing about what it means to be an artist. If he was an artist, he would know that he doesn’t need fans to continue to do his art. What this domestic violence perpetrator needs is money. He’s now pimping out his fans to make that happen.

    a. This argument, “I do this for you” or “You make me do this” is the same “logic” that abusers use. It’s about blame shifting.
    b. This sorry piece of human lint is pretty much now trying the make the direct consequences [loss of sponsors and airplay] of his actions [choking out his significant other to the point of her passing out AFTER beating her up] the fault of his fans.

    The nerve.

    Chris,

As humans we often times have the tendency to forget all prior acts of sins that we have engaged in. I don’t care who or how old you are, as a person you have done something in your life that you regret and whatever the situation may have been, if given the opportunity, you would more than likely take a different approach in that area of your life. Bottom line, we as a people were not created to be perfect. In God’s eyes there is no such thing as LITTLE WHITE LIE, BIG WHITE LIE, LITTLE SIN, BIG SIN…SIN IS SIN!

Chris, no one has the power to destroy you but GOD! He gave you the talented gift you possess. For individuals that are passing judgment, wishing, and speaking acts of failure into your future-always remember that “NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER”. If you have asked GOD for FORGIVENESS and that individual for what you have done- nothing else matters. FOR HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY ALPHA and OMEGA! GOD has the power to move mountains and bridges in ways that one can only can imagine! You don’t need to seek the approval of mankind. KEEP SEEKING AND PRAISING GOD! HAVE FAITH IN HIS WORD AND STAND ON IT! FOR HE WILL NEVER FAIL YOU!

CHRIS! GOD IS ABOUT TO MAKE SOME MAJOR CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE. HE IS CLEANING HOUSE! YOUR CAREER AND ALL YOUR HEARTS DESIRES ARE ABOUT TO COME TO PASS AND FLOURISH BEYOND BELIEF! KEEP PRAYING, HAVING FAITH, AND STANDING ON HIS WORD! HE MAY NOT COME WHEN YOU WANT HIM TO, BUT HE IS ALWAYS ON TIME!
